Day 1: Depart Sydney

The tour departs from Sydney on a direct flight to Johannesburg where you will transfer to an internal flight to Cape Town. Your experienced guide will escort you all the way to your accommodation in the De Waterkant area of Cape Town.

Day 2-5 : Cape Town

Cape Town is a beautiful city and over the next four days you will have time to discover this for yourself, with a tour of the city bowl, a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, a full day Cape Winelands tour and a full day Cape Point and Peninsular tour.

Day 6 : Premier Train to Johannesburg

Today you will depart Cape Town by Premier Train for Johannesburg. The train travels overnight arriving mid-morning the following day.  On arrival in Johannesburg you will be transferred to your accommodation in Pretoria.

Day 7-8 : Pretoria

During your two night stay in Pretoria you will visit the surrounding area, including the Union Buildings and visit the Lesedi Cultural Village where you will observe the traditional African way of life of the Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho and Ndebele people.

Day 9-10 : Blyde River Canyon

The magnificent panoramic route through the Blyde River Canyon is best known for its cultural heritage and dramatic landscapes. Over the next two days there will be numerous opportunities to stop and admire the breathtaking views. You will visit spectacular natural sites including God’s Window and MacMac Falls.

Day 11-12 : Private Game Lodge – Sabi Sands

The Sabi Sands Game Reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park and it will be your home for the next two nights. You will be looked after by the owners of this establishment. They will escort you on your private morning and afternoon drives and it is here that you might get the chance to see the BIG 5.

Day 13-14 : Kruger National Park

You will now have the opportunity to see another aspect of this great game park during your 2 night stay. You will see a diversity of flora and fauna and you will also have another chance to view wild life in its natural environment.

Day 15-16 : Swaziland

The Kingdom of Swaziland is one of the smallest countries in the Southern hemisphere but its size is more than made up for by the diverse topography and a varying climate with a cool and mountainous highveld and a hot and dry lowveld, you will explore these regions over the next two days.

Day 17-18 : Dundee – Battle Fields

Your accommodation for the next 2 nights is in Dundee, a small town in KwaZulu Natal. Dundee is situated in close proximity to the battlefields of The Zulu Wars and the second Boer War. A full day guided tour of Isandlwana and Rorkes’ Drift has been arranged with a wonderful guide who will bring to life the history of the area.

Day 19 : Johannesburg

Your accommodation tonight will be in Bed and Breakfast establishment close to the international airport from where you will depart tomorrow for Botswana.

Day 20-21 : Botswana

Your home for the next two nights is on the banks of the Chobe river in Kasane where you can sit back and relax while watching life on the river. A full day of game viewing has been arranged, with a morning criuse on the river and an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park.

Day 22-23 : Zambia – Victoria Falls

You will be escorted over the border to Zambia and your hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River. There will be a trip to Victoria Falls and Livingstone and you will also have free time to do one or more of the many adventure activities on offer:- white water rafting, flights over Victoria falls, bunjee jumping or canoeing on the Zambezi.

Day 24 : Johannesburg – Sydney

Today is the end of the tour and you will be transferred to the airport for the departing flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg airport you will be escorted to your connecting flight home.
